Physicians Training Program

Turn the Corner Foundation is pleased to announce our Physicians Training Program in conjunction with The International and Associated Disease Society (ILADS). Through our programs Physicians, PA’s, RN’s, nurse practitioners and naturopathic practitioners have the opportunity to train with a designated ILADS Lyme disease literate doctor or other approved person. When accepted by the Lyme disease literate trainer, the clerkship participant can expect to receive reimbursement for travel plus a $200 stipend per diem.

All candidates must submit receipts to the ILADS business office including a brief form indicating what was learned and how the training might influence their future practice.

Interested parties should contact Barbara Buchman from ILADS at Lymedocs@aol.com. She will supply you with the necessary forms to begin your training program. We are excited to help turn the corner on Lyme disease by training these new health care professionals. The trainee will be able to take this newly acquired knowledge and treat people in their communities. Increasing the amount of Lyme disease literate doctors is essential to treat the thousands of ill patients domestically and internationally.
